Church Farm welcomes all visitors, and we endeavour to make the farm as accessible as is practically possible. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy nature and get close to farming, whatever your accessibility requirements.
Church Farm will soon be partnering with NIMBUS DISABILITY using their recognised Access Card Scheme.
Producing this card will be the only way to receive a carer’s discount and carers tickets (half price adult rate) will be available to buy via our website.
Please go to Access Card – application form to begin your application for a Nimbus card.
It is FREE to apply for a digital card via NIMBUS
This is the current system for carers
Please book the SEN child or adult in via our on-line booking system. The SEN person would pay full price. Carers – When you arrive at the Farm please show your DLA paperwork to the staff and pay the reduced carer’s price of £6.00 (Or £6.75) if the rest of the party have not pre-booked).
We do not currently have a system to pre-book carers on-line.
We will always allow the carer in even if we are full provided the disabled person has pre-booked.
Paths & Terrain
- Paths are a mixture of tarmac, gravel, concrete and grass.
- Some areas have uneven surfaces, and certain gravel sections may be more challenging for wheelchair users, mobility scooter users or visitors with limited mobility.
Mobility Considerations
- Visitors using wheelchairs or mobility scooters may find some sections easier with assistance, particularly on grass.
- We recommend allowing extra time to move comfortably between different parts of the farm.
- Carers or companions may find it helpful to support navigation in areas with uneven terrain.
Seating & Rest points
- Benches and resting spots are located throughout the farm, offering places to pause and enjoy the surroundings.
Parking & Arrival
- For accessible parking, we have designated blue badge parking near the entrance of the farm, follow the signs.
Accessible Facilities
- We have 3 accessible toilets located around the farm, with one in the tea room area, one in the treehouse area and one in the main farm.
